WOLVERHAMPTON CITY NETBALL LEAGUE

The Open Knock-Out second round meeting of Sam 2 and Lucas provided a battle to the end. Having contained each other goal for goal throughout, extra time still provided no ‘winning' score as again each squad fought for equal goals, and hence the match continued to the next ‘Golden Goal' which was literally only seconds into further extra time crowning Lucas a place in the Quarter-finals.

Sam 2 faired better against Eurostars with a two goal win, whilst Sam 1 romped home over Chasers Ladies 31 – 9.

Ladybirds were subdued by the constant attacking of Whitmore Y which gained them a 34 – 18 victory and a place in the Quarter-finals.
