Week 14 - 19 th January 2012
With solid shooting from Sheila Wilmore and Stephanie Rowntree , Baileys reinforced their challenge for top placing in Div.One of the Wolverhampton City Netball League by substantially beating Whitmore Y 27-13 making them only two points behind leaders Phoenix whose Shooters, Karen Malpass and Sarah Wall produced a win over Whitmore X thus reversing their first half-season result them when Whitmore X were victorious.

In Div.2, Amec Ladies have begun to turn their fortunes around by finishing only 4 goals behind champions Sam 3 at the final whistle.

Div 3's Whitmore J's Defence, Sue Parkes and Deb Pickford , made intuitive interceptions against Roldec's Shooters, Linda Smith and Sally Finch whilst Sedgley Sirens closed a handsome finish versus Ladybirds due to fine scoring by both pairs of Shooters, Angels Roberts and Claire Dowen (SS) and Brenda France and Jane Langford (LB).

Breezers , in Div.4, struggled sadly against young Molineux Hornets whose energetic approach gave them mastery of the court.

Highlight in Div 5 was provided by Sam 5 who, despite being a player down, streaked to a win over Whitmore A.

Week 13 - 12 th January 2012
In beating Sam 1 27-18, Phoenix take over from Sam by 3 points as leading team in Division One of the Wolverhampton City Netball League due to persistent shooting from Karen Malpass and Sarah Wall. Meanwhile Chasetown A overwhelmed last year's champions Crescent who still have yet to regain their former prowess.

Sapphets and Sam 3 continue to battle for top position in Div.2 as they both gained another victory each by beating Amec Ladies and Chasers Juniors whilst Rachel Guglielmo and Laura Keoph scored calmly against Ladybirds to push into a one-point lead in Div.3.

Remaining highlight was Dreamgirls reversing their fortunes against Whitmore by winning 23-22 having lost by 13-22 in the first half-season.

Week 12 - 1 st December 2011

Phoenix re-established their claim to top position in Div.1 of Wolverhampton City Netball League when they pushed Lucas into a 25-16 defeat; whilst Whitmore X claimed a 29-25 victory over last season's Summer Champions, Sam 1.

With a player down Div 3's Ladybirds gained a 28-7 overwhelming win over Roldec , mainly due to precise shooting from Brenda France and Jane Langford.

Another highlight was Div.5's clash between Chase Ultra Stars and Dolls 2 (29-28) where all four shooters claimed goal for goal (Katie George/Louise Paskin and Hannah Cook/Harriet Richards) despite intuitive interceptions from all four defence (Natasha Evans/Amy Brettle and Sian Holmes/Megan Connor).

Week 11 - 24 th November 2011

Wolverhampton City Netball League's Div I gave Whitmore X the opportunity of double victory by beating Crescent and Whitmore Y whilst Phoenix's win over Whitmore Y has pushed them back into the divisional lead over Lucas who lost out to Baileys.

In Div 2, Sapphets suffered their first loss as Sam 3 struggled into a 3 goal lead dur to sharp shootong by Deb Cor and Sharna K Bishop.

Shocking win by Roldec in Div 3 as they squashed leaders Dolls 1 by 23-19.

In Div.4 Dreamgirls retained their leading position with a five goal win over Chasetown B due to some accurate shooting by Denbi Rickerby and Stephanie Bortolozzo .

Sam 5 enjoyed a double win in Div 5 after a close encounter with Ice (18-14) and a wipe-out over Zimmers (21-1).

Week 10 - 17th November 2011

In beating Lucas in the Wolverhampton City Netball League, Phoenixhave snatched top position back from Lucas who now take over as second in Div 1.

Div 2 was enlightened when Mak 7 ran out against Chasers Juniors and both sets of Shooters proved equally accurate in goal scoring - Lynne Cox and Jayne Tansley (Mak 7) and Megan Becker and Sally Brinson (CH.Juniors)

In Div 5, Sam 4’s thirst for wins was satisfied again as they quashed Zimmers 30–8 whilst Sam 5 overcame Dolls2 (19-11) who had already managed to beat Ice.

Week 9 - 10th November 2011

Lucas continue to contend for top place in Div.1 of Wolverhampton City Netball League by overcoming Whitmore X by 3 goals at the final whistle. However, Whitmore X had already seen off Phoenix beforehand and Whitmore Y also beat Crescent.

The only match this week in Div 2 was the clash between Sam 2 and Sam 3 and shooters Beth Matthews and Sharron Hudson (Sam 2) and Deb Corr and Sharna K-Bishton (Sam 3) resulting in only one goal difference.

Highlight of Div 3 was the return of Eurostars to their previous kudos with an outstanding victory over Baggeridge Bulletts by 28-3. Dolls 1 also showed biting steel over Static by pressing a 10 goal lead.

Div 4’s Whitmore T sparkled as Centre Court (Vicki Beards, Nic Mate and Jemma Williamson) helped to waltz to a win over Chase youngsters.

Zimmer’s old gals showed great enjoyment in their Div 5 game despite the winning moves of Whitmore A resulting in a 19-6 win.
