TURKEY AND TIPPLE
Each year before Christmas there is a special fun tournament
where teams dress up and play in their costumes. Before each match,
bibs are placed in a carrier bag, held by the umpires and players must
play in the position as drawn (no cheating).
The evening concludes with a Turkey Cob (cheese for veg's), a mince pie
and a wee ‘tipple' - whilst Christmas chocolates are awarded to the best costumes and tokens are given to the winners and r-ups.

On arrival - Please pay fee and complete team sheet (declare if ineligible - players must be registered for your team) and confirm at desk re numbers for refreshments.
Before each match - Bibs into umpire's carrier bag, retain the bib drawn for that match - please put on immediately - no cheating - Ho, Ho, Ho !!!!
Matches are 5 minutes each way with one minute half time.
Only FIVE MINUTES between rounds so do please move on to your next
court immediately after the previous round and draw bibs when warning
horn is sounded (two minutes before each round).
Umpires will begin and end on bell.
Only fancy-dressed teams may be eligible for winning points.
Also only teams staying till the end will be eligible for winning tokens.
Umpires decisions are final.
Teams play in groups of seven – winners – top team from each group.
